To withstand the exceptionally high speeds at which our blades continuously cut through wood, Jo Beau developed a high-tech production process. The combination of carefully selected steel grades, precisely controlled hardening and a well-engineered blade design results in blades of unmatched quality and durability.
The two hardened blades cut branches and leaves against the grain, following the well-known planing principle of the Jo Beau® Drum Technology™. It is this refined combination of drum design and blade geometry that makes the Jo Beau drum technology one of the best chipping principles developed on the market. The result is an extremely efficient cutting action that transforms wood into small, uniform chips.
These chips are ideal for decoration (mulching), composting, soil improvement or use as biofuel.
