The Jo Beau® B40-140RC fully automatic stump grinder is the radio-controlled version of the B40-140 and offers maximum control, flexibility and safety. This latest generation in the professional segment combines extreme power with exceptional efficiency and ease of use. Thanks to its compact design and robust construction, this machine is ideal for intensive use by demanding professionals.
The B40-140RC is the successor to the B37-110RC and offers more power, higher efficiency and improved performance.
The B40-140RC stands out with its powerful 40 HP engine, an impressive working width of 140 cm and its high operating speed. In combination with wide tracks, an optimized grinding mechanism and the optional extendable tracks for extra stability, this machine delivers top performance in any working environment.
The wireless radio control allows the machine to be operated completely remotely. This gives the user maximum freedom in positioning and optimal visibility of the work during grinding. Ideal for working in hard-to-reach areas or situations where maximum safety is required.
A unique feature is that the B40-140RC is also equipped with an on-board control console. This allows the operator – if desired or necessary – to control the machine directly from the console.
Depending on the hardness of the stump, the operator can choose to lower the cutting wheel both left and right fully automatically, or alternatively manually grind stumps using the joystick via the radio control or via the console on the machine. The grinding depth per sweep is adjustable at any time thanks to the integrated Variable Grinding Depth Control. This ensures an exceptionally efficient and controlled grinding motion and significantly higher productivity.

Jo Beau developed the 'GrinDisc™' cutting wheel, equipped with 12 Greenteeth® teeth. This provides greater centrifugal force, better grinding results and a stable RPM, even under heavy load.
The B40-140RC is equipped as standard with a Vanguard EFI twin-cylinder petrol engine using the latest ecological technology. EFI stands for "electronic fuel injection". The controlled fuel injection continuously adapts to engine load, resulting in numerous advantages:
