M400 Drive™ wood chipper

The M400 Drive pro-chipper is powered by the same robust 20 HP 2-cylinder Honda GX engine with electric start as the M400, but stands out thanks to its electric self-propelled drive system. The highly intuitive drive control on the handlebar at the infeed hopper, with simple on/off switching of the electric drive, significantly increases ease of use and operator comfort.

Large front wheels combined with pivoting rear swivel wheels ensure excellent manoeuvrability. With a compact machine width of only 72 cm, the M400 Drive can be easily used in narrow passages and hard-to-reach areas. The separate metal fuel can prevents fire hazards during refuelling and once again highlights Jo Beau’s high safety standards.

The renowned Jo Beau® drum technology™ guarantees effortless chipping of branches with a diameter of 10 to 12 cm – depending on wood type – into high-quality wood chips. The strikingly wide infeed opening of 67 cm is designed to handle a large volume of side branches, resulting in higher productivity.

Thanks to various available options such as a removable discharge chute extension, a high rotating discharge chute and puncture-proof front and rear wheels, the M400 Drive™ is perfectly suited for professional use by landscapers, arborists and rental companies.
