The M400 Drive™ is equipped with a reliable 20 hp Honda petrol engine with electric start and an electric drive system. This allows effortless movement across uneven terrain, slopes and narrow access points, while significantly reducing physical strain on the operator. With a compact width of only 72 cm, it is also perfectly suited for urban gardens and restricted work sites.

As with all Jo Beau® chippers, this model features the proven drum technology™, delivering consistently high throughput and high-quality wood chips. Thanks to its wide feed opening and a chipping capacity of up to 100–120 mm, the M400 Drive™ is ideal for intensive professional use by landscapers, arborists, municipalities and rental companies.

Safety and ergonomics were key design priorities. Controls are intuitively positioned on the feed hopper handlebar, and the machine fully complies with European CE safety standards.
